PROJECT “ORCHARD ROOTS”: A FAMILY HOME REIMAGINED
Some homes aren’t just places to live—they’re the keepers of stories. Our Orchard Roots project is one of those rare homes, filled with decades of memories and now evolving to support the next generation.
Originally built by our client’s grandparents, this house was where she spent her childhood, exploring its corners, reading in the sun-drenched rooms, and growing up surrounded by family. Today, she lives here with her husband and their two young kids, weaving new memories into the fabric of the home.

PROJECT FEATURE | CEDAR
Our clients had lived there as a family of four for 15 years with their 2 girls, their dog and cats. It was a full house. Once the girls went off to college, the clients were faced with the decision to either sell the house and move or keep it and refresh completely to accommodate their new empty nest stage of life. They decided to stay and brought us on board to revive their lived-in (and loved) home to be a place where they could start their next phase of life together and stay for many more years to come.

PROJECT FEATURE | NICASIO
Nestled among the rolling hills of Nicasio, in an old dairy pasture, lies a charming retreat designed to embrace slow living, appreciate nature and connect with loved ones. As our clients transitioned into retirement and planned for more family gatherings and holidays, they wanted their home to be a place that embodies their passions and lifestyle while creating a comfortable place to relax, explore and make lasting memories for years to come. Combining their love for birding, wildlife, gardening, cooking and gathering with family, this home is a haven for relaxation and connection.

PROJECT FEATURE | “MORE THAN THE EICHLER”
Our team was approached in 2021 for a complete remodel of our Clients 1965 Jones & Emmons Eichler home in Walnut Creek, CA. The previous owners had made a number of custom updates throughout the years resulting in a home that felt disconnected and outdated. Our goal was to honor the integrity of the original Eichler architecture while creating cleaner lines, incorporating natural materials, and balancing the old with the new in a minimal and intentional way.

LOOKING FORWARD TO 2025
The past year was a transformative one both personally and professionally. For both of us, learning to balance early motherhood while running a small business has been both rewarding and extremely challenging. It’s taken time, a step back, and a lot of reflection to find our footing. I know we’re not alone in this and so many of you can relate.
